"I saw the ad for the 90 day challenge in our local newspaper on a Thursday, it began that Saturday. I thought what the heck, why not? I have struggled with my weight my whole life, and at 39 I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, I needed to do something. At the presentation, I was immediately impressed with the common sense approach. As a type 2 diabetic, the low GI food plan was easy to follow, and the recipe's are quick, easy and very tastey! In 90 days, I have lost 24 pounds, found energy I didn't have in years, and enjoy exercise again. The biggest thing for me was when I went for my A1C test and my blood sugars were in the normal range and my doctor cut my medication prescription in half! He also said, if I continue eating and exercising the way I am, I will be off my medication completely in 6 months!
