Laughter Presentations and Workshops

Every effort is made to tailor sessions to fit each client's specific needs. The focus is to create a presentation that meets your goals and exceeds your expectations!

Laugh for Life with Laughter Yoga

During this energetic one-hour laughter workshop, participants are guided through a series of simple and fun exercises that generate uproarious laughter without telling jokes or relying on any form of humour.

Participants will:

  • Experience how to generate genuine, healthy laughter for themselves
  • Learn why and how to use laughter to benefit their lives, their relationships and their workplace.
  • Giggle and belly laugh their way to a feeling of well being.

The laughter techniques experienced in laughter sessions have been developed by Certified Laughter Teachers and Leaders around the world. The laughter is called "simulated laughter" or "laughing for no reason" because no jokes, clowning or other forms of humour are used to start the laughter. Instead, we use easily learned skills and a series of group activities designed to stimulate natural laughter.

Research and practical experience has shown that laughter is a powerful stress reliever, good exercise, a strong support for physical and psychological health, promotes healthy social bonding, creates a sense of well being, and is mentally and physically refreshing.

Laughter sessions provide participants with the basic experience and understanding to bring the benefits of laughter more fully into their work and their daily lives.

Laughter sessions are also plain good fun!

Testimonials

"Thanks for making our Team Day a great day!"
Ministry of Children and Family Development, Quesnel, BC

"On behalf of the Leadership BC 2006 Program Participants – Thank You!"
The Quesnel & District Chamber of Commerce

"I just want to extend a big 'Thank you' to you and Heather for coming down and putting on a great workshop. All those who attended said it was a 'hoot' and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've been hearing all about it this morning from several of my co-workers and can just feel their exuberance bubbling over and their big ear to ear grins which to me says it all. I arrived to work this morning to find a Thank You card on my desk signed by the group with all sorts of Ha Ha Ho Ho messages thanking me for putting on the workshop. So that just extends back to you."
