Heather's Bio
Heather took her first YMCA Certification course in 1984. To be up to date with fitness trends and certifications Heather has regularly attended workshops all over the province of B.C. For Heather it has definitely been a labour of love. Heather's fitness classes have always been hugely successful. Ranging from aerobics to step, boot camp and seniors fitness, all have been enthusiastically received. As a certified Joint Works instructor her senior's "Keenagers" class has run for 22 years! In 1988 Heather felt drawn to discover the benefits of weight training. After becoming certified as a Weight Training Instructor, she expanded her clientele. As a certified Personal Trainer she found resistance training to be a terrific discipline that had a positive impact on her clients. Always looking to bring more to her clients Heather turned her focus towards the specialty of Yoga and Pilates. Her Fusion classes have brought another dimension to her holistic approach to fitness and wellness. Heather is convinced that being fit and healthy has huge rewards. She and her husband live an active and healthy lifestyle. Touring on their bicycles, leading Laughter Yoga Clubs, and looking for adventure keep both Heather and her husband Chris living life to the fullest. Heather's Certifications
