As a Fitness Professional, Heather has supported many local charities and agencies. In recent years she and Chris have chosen to focus on the following three important health and fitnes related activities.

In 1985 Heather started volunteering to instruct a "Seniors" Fitness Class at the Legion in Quesnel. Along the way the group became known as the "Keenagers" and has met every Tuesday and Thursday morning for a 1 hour class. All proceeds of the drop-in fee have gone to the Legion. Hundreds of people have taken advantage of this class that has become a 'must-do' keep fit class for these active people. Heather is very proud of the group and often boasts that her 85 year old ladies can do full 'planks'. Way to go! Due to their popularity, Heather's classes are actively supported by Cheryl Scanlan. Thanks Cheryl! |

Quesnel Women’s Fall Challenge has been organizing this wellness event since 1994 and it just keeps getting better. Beginning with only a handful of friends, the annual event has grown to an average of 650 participants…women of all ages, who either walk or run the minimum or the maximum.
It’s fun and people want to do it again!
In terms of fundraising, since 1998 Quesnel Women’s Fall Challenge has proudly supported the GR Baker Memorial Hospital’s Mammography Unit. H3F is proud to be a sponsor of the QWFC! |

One of over 6000 Laughter Clubs in the world, the Quesnel Laughter Club has been bringing people together to LAUGH FOR THE HEALTH OF IT since 2006. As Certified Laughter (Hasya) Yoga Teacher and Leader, Chris and Heather focus on the health benefits while guiding people through a series of laughter exercises and Yogic breathing.
The idea was developed by Dr. Madan Kataria a medical doctor in India who realized his patients could benefit from the effects of regular laughter. The QLC meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the H3F Studio. Doors open at 7:30, laughter starts at 7:45! Admission is free or by donation.
